Fun at the Amusement Park

There was a tiny little Amusement Park that came to our tiny town for a couple of days. So we thought we would check it out. They had some rides that looked perfect for the boys. So I bought them some tickets, (which by the way, they loved handing their tickets to the man. They thought that was so cool!) and we headed straight to the roller coaster. I thought they would like it the best.

Here they are before the ride starts. They look happy enough.

Here they are during the ride. They are both holding on for dear life. They were terrified. they only made it around the track twice before I had the man stop the ride. They were so scared, and I feel bad, but it made me laugh harder than I have laughed in a long time. Their faces show it all!

So on we went to the little bumper cars. This one they actually loved! You'll have to click on this picture. Their faces are adorable. They loved it!

They also loved this rocket ride. They were loving the carnival at this point.

When it was time to go Connor was so sad he cried. A couple of days later I had to drive them past the spot where the carnival was to show them that it was really gone. I had to prove that I really was not mean for not taking them back.

Solids

Noah recently started eating solid foods. I could tell he was ready because he would smack his lips every time we would eat, oh and it could have been that he was still waking up 3 times a night.

Here is my big boy sitting like such a little man in his chair.

You can see how well the first feeding went

He is enjoying his cereal much more now, as you can tell. He has also had green beans (he didn't love them, actually he hated them,) and bananas (he loves them.) Oh, and in case you were wondering, he is sleeping 8 straight hours now. Thanks Gerber!

First Day of Preschool

Today was my sweet little Brenden's first day of Preschool. He was so excited. I think a lot of his excitement stemmed from the fact that he was wearing a backpack. The only thing that dampered his excitement was when I told him that the bus didn't go to the preschool and he would have to ride with me. He was pretty sad about that. Connor was pretty sad about not being able to go to preschool with Brenden. I have never seen such a sad face as his when we walked out of the school.

I am proud of myself. I handled Brenden going to school much better than I thought I would. There were no tears (other than Connor's). I did lose a little sleep last night, but I am actually excited for the things Brenden is going to learn. Connor, Noah and I miss him, but we're proud of him too!

When I picked him up I asked how his day went. He talked first about recess and then he talked about snack time. It made me laugh. Although starting school was a big change for all of us, somethings never change.

Roaring Springs

While we were in Boise, we went to Roaring Springs Waterpark. We had so much fun! My parents even watched my 3 boys so I could go on the "big kid" slides. I had so much fun with my sisters and brother-in-laws. After a couple of hours on my own, believe it or not, I missed my kids and I was excited to go get them and bring them with me for some fun. We actually stayed until closing and that is why I felt safe pulling my camera out at a water park, there weren't many kids left. As you can tell, Connor was done for the day. We had so much fun and we can't wait to go again!
