Imaginary Blue House?

I've heard of little kids having an imaginary friend, but never an imaginary house. My sweet little Brenden has an imaginary house. Why am I blogging about this? Because it is a major part of our lives. Brenden and Connor engage in the most interesting conversations about this house. Connor is very curious to find out all of the ammenities at the house. I will overhear converstaions such as: Connor to Brenden, "Does your blue house have a dishwasher?" Brenden to Connor, "Yes, it does and it has a crib too, with another little baby named, um, um, um, I forgot his name."
Tonight Connor and Noah fell asleep early and Brenden and I had some time alone together. So after a great game of Candyland with Dora the Explorer, I was bound and determined to find out exactally what this blue house looked like. Brenden and I searched all over the internet for his blue house, he was getting impatient becuase we weren't finding one that fit his description of having a blue door with a really big chimney. I don't think this one was the perfect house, but we were both getting tired of searching and he finally decided this one was the one. So here it is the imfamous "Blue House." I can't wait to show Connor tomorrow and listen to the converstion that will follow.
As I tucked Brenden into to bed tonight his last comment was, "Mom, thanks so much for helping me find a picture of my blue house." It was so cute, I just had to share his "Blue House" with everyone. I hope you love it as much as Brenden does.

Say Cheese

I recently bought a new digital camera. I was a little camera happy at first and now Brenden and Connor are constantly asking me to take pictures of them. These pictures were taken Sunday morning before church at their request. I thought they turned out pretty cute.

C-O-O-L R-I-D-E-R

I thought all of you Grease 2 fans would enjoy that title. Anyway, Brenden has recently learned how to ride a bike, (with training wheels.) We are very proud of him, and he, (I might add,) is pretty proud of himself. He thinks I should take a picture of him every time he gets on. I took some great footage of him peddaling, and there is some great footage of Connor riding "his scooter." I even got out my old bike that I got for my birthday when I was in the 5th grade and rode with Brenden and Connor. We've been having lots of fun being cool riders.

Time to whiten

Brenden, Connor and I were talking a couple days ago while I was brushing my teeth. They were talking about different colors and I asked them what color my teeth were. Brenden responded, "Brown." When he saw the shock on my face he said, "Sorry, I meant yellow."

Connor's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Connor's 3rd birthday yesterday at Lake Tahoe. We had a blast breaking open the pinata, playing at the beach and swimming. I can't believe Connor is so old! When Connor woke up, I asked him what he wanted for his birthday breakfast and he said cake! I thought it was so funny. Connor was so sweet. Anytime anyone would wish him a Happy Birthday, he would say it back. He is such a good little boy. We have loved having him in our family for the last 3 years!
