Signs of Spring

We pulled out of the garage this morning to take Brenden to preschool and he shouted look at the flowers! I looked and sure enough we saw these little yellow flowers. It made us so excited for spring!

We also noticed that the tulips are starting to sprout!

Unfortunatly we also noticed that it is definately time to start weeding as well.

Occasionally the boys and I like to reminisce and we sit down together and look at pictures and movies of when they were younger (since they're still really young). We found these ones that I thought were so cute! Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

You scored big time with a box of 24 Chocolate dipped strawberries! Brenden, Connor, Noah, Cara and I devoured them! Yes, I even shared a little bit with Noah and he loved them. Also thanks for the white roses! They are gorgeous! We are still enjoying them. Connor even climbed up on the counter and took this picture. I have to give credit where credit is due, Gary- You are the best Valentine Ever, not because of the gifts you give, but because you are the best husband and father. I love you.

Cara's Surprise Visit!!!

Cara and Milo came to help me celebrate my birthday! It was a totally unexpected visit, so that made it even more exciting! We had lots of fun, here are some of the things we did:

Cara had never been to Tahoe, so we took her there to see the lake! Come back in the summer and we'll really have a blast at the lake! Hint, Hint.

Brenden's Tech Talk

I was doing dishes after lunch today and Brenden walked up to me and said, and I quote, "You should probably get an ipod." I told him that I already had an ipod. His eyes got big and bright and he said, "Where is it? I want to play on it!" I said, "Oh, do you mean an itouch?" and he said, "Yeah, like Cheryl's with games on it." and I said that I didn't have one of those. Then he said, "You should get an itouch, Mom."

It totally cracked me up that my 4 year old is asking me to buy things; especially things like an itouch. I guess he is really growing up.

Loving the Weather

We have been loving the weather here lately.  We had to take advantage of it, so we headed to the park.  The boys had a blast.  We have spring fever!
