Winter at the Lake

We had a blast at the lake this past weekend.  We snowshoed in and made our own private sled hill!
Brenden fell in a hole!
We built a huge snowman!
It was a wonderful Saturday spent outside in one of the most beautiful placed on Earth!

Toothless

Last Saturdaywhile sledding up at Tahoe, Connor lost his second tooth!  His smile is adorable!
He doesn't smile anymore without sticking out his tongue!
See I told you!  Connor did not loose it because he his his mouth while sledding.  He simply was pulling his glove up with his teeth and that was all it needed!  And the toothfairy managed to find us once again!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Yesterday Brenden came home from school and informed me it was Dr. Seuss' birthday!
With him he brought a recipe of how to make green eggs.  He really wanted to try it!
Brenden and Connor really liked them Noah would not touch them!  Thanks Brenden for a very interesting dinner!

Once there were two Snowmen

Once there were two snowmen, snowmen, snowmen.

Once there were two snowmen:  TALL, TALL, TALL!

In the sun they melted, melted melted.  In the sun they melted:

Sunsets

We have had some gorgeous sunset's lately.  So gorgeous that I have to grab my camera and try to capture the beauty.  Here area few of my favorites from this month.

Snowshoeing with My Boys

The boys and I decided to go snowshoeing today.  It was Brenden and Connor's first time and they were so excited!  We had a blast!  They are even asking when we are going to go again, so I think it was a successful trip.  Noah even said he had a good time.

Christmas 2010

We started the season out with the annual cutting of the Christmas Tree.  Every year I say it's time for an artificial tree, but when it comes down to it, there's nothing like a live Christmas Tree.  We really appreciate the Heusser's help, We couldn't have done it without them!
The boys loved decorating the tree.  Noah had his own special spot, where he put every single ornament!

Brenden and Connor are getting more brave, they were wanting to decorate up high, not down where they could reach!

Here we are celebrating Joseph Smith's birthday with Reagyn and Sawyer at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
We decorated a gingerbread sleigh.  It didn't stay together long before they tore it apart to eat it!
Every Christmas eve we have a Christmas Program. The kids acted out the Nativity Scene. They did a great job!

Noah and his little cousins danced to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  It was adorable!

Brenden and Colin sang, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." It was so cute! Their smiles are so cute! Connor didn't want to perform, but then when he saw everyone else participating; then he decided to sing some songs, and we couldn't get him to quit! I didn't get a snapshot of him, but I recorded him on video.

The boys fed the Reindeer on Christmas Eve.  They were so excited.  We think we spotted Rudolph too!
This is what we found in our Great Room when we got home!  It was a woderful Christmas.  We felt the spirit of the season and we had so much fun with family
